Alternative Provision
- Albert Einstein
"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
To ensure the young person has increased chances of success we personalise a varied curriculum offer for them to meet their individual needs. This is designed with an emphasis on improving literacy and numeracy, sequentially recuperating self-esteem through alternative learning opportunities and best preparing them for post-16 education, employment and/or training.

Our academic offer is complimented by our broad range of options and vocational experiences and qualifications, targeting specific student requirements and potential post-16 destinations; delivered in conjunction with sector specific; industry recognised qualifications; work placements and vocational engagement activities, including:

Cookery, Forest School, RISE 61 Community gardening & landscaping, Active Hub Group Fitness Sessions, Bike Hub, music technology and computer programming at The Bunker, Salisbury Impact MMA, and a range of sports.
Work Experience
Work experience can be a very powerful, life changing experience for learners. Some go on to gain employment and some realise their ideal career path and progress to being very successful in their chosen field. At Brunel College we encourage all students to at least try a one placement to gain some experience in the working world.
